How the program works
Breaking into cyber is easier with someone beside you.
Launchpad is a 4-week mentoring program for early starters who are ready to land their first cyber role. You learn alongside others in the same spot as you.
Every week has a clear purpose, and each one builds on the last. By the end, you’ll have a direction, a stronger resume and real interview practice behind you.
Our approach
How Launchpad works.
Small groups, so you’re never just a face on a screen
Each cohort has only 4 to 6 people. Everyone gets time to talk through their own situation, ask questions and learn from each other.
Group learning, together
Group sessions give you the big picture and the support of people on the same journey.
Practical from day one
You won’t just listen. Each week ends with a small, practical task that sets you up for the next one, so you keep moving forward between sessions.
Advice from someone who has done the hiring
You’ll learn what hiring managers actually look for, from someone who has built cyber teams and hired junior analysts. No guesswork, no generic online advice.
Honest and realistic
We won’t promise you a job, because no one honestly can. What we will do is make sure you walk into every application and interview prepared, clear and confident.

Your 4 weeks at a glance
Each week has a clear purpose. Each one builds on the last.
Week 01 / 04 · Group session
Find your lane
Explore the main entry-level cyber roles, match them to your strengths and past experience, and start your career plan. We’ll also talk honestly about rejection and how to keep going.
You walk away with: A target role, the first draft of your career plan and a realistic view of the journey.
Week 02 / 04
Make your experience count
We review your resume line by line, the way a hiring manager reads it, and fix your LinkedIn so recruiters see what you can really do.
You walk away with: Clear, specific fixes for your resume and LinkedIn.
Week 03 / 04 · Group session
Stand out and get interview-ready
Build your personal brand, learn ways to gain experience and find roles beyond job boards, and discover what hiring managers really look for. You’ll practise your “tell me about yourself” answer with the group.
You walk away with: A clear personal pitch, a plan to build your profile and a simple structure for answering interview questions.
Week 04 / 04
Put it all into practice
A realistic interview for the role you’re aiming for, followed by honest, live feedback on what landed, what to tighten and how you came across.
You walk away with: Real interview practice, honest feedback and the confidence to back yourself.
Who should enrol
Ready to start, but not sure how to get in?
Launchpad is for early starters who are putting in the work and still waiting for their break.
Launchpad is for you if:
- You’re studying, have finished a bootcamp, or are teaching yourself, and you don’t have a cyber role yet.
- You’ve applied for entry-level jobs or internships, but they want 2 to 3 years of experience, or you hear nothing back at all.
- Your resume reads like a list of courses, and you’re not sure how to make your past jobs and study count.
- You’re not sure where you fit in cyber, and the more you read online, the more confused you get.
- You don’t know anyone in the industry to ask for advice, feedback or a referral.
What you’ll walk away with
Four weeks from now, you’ll be ready.
By the end of Launchpad, you’ll:
Know where you’re headed: which cyber role suits you, and why.
Have a plan: clear next steps to build experience and land your first role.
Be seen for what you can do: a resume and LinkedIn that tell a story employers understand.
Know how to stand out: ways to build your profile and find roles beyond job boards.
Feel ready for interviews: a clear personal pitch and real practice with honest feedback.
Keep going when it’s hard: simple habits to handle rejection and keep your momentum.
The four pillars
Four pillars. One clear way in.
Launchpad is built on four pillars that work together to take you from learning cyber to landing your first role. They cover the part of breaking in that courses and certifications leave out.
Pillar 01 / 04
Career planning
Find the cyber role that suits your strengths, spot the gaps you need to close, and set clear next steps.
What you work towards
Knowing exactly where you’re headed, and why.

How is Launchpad different from a bootcamp or certification course?
Bootcamps and certifications teach you technical skills. Launchpad helps you use those skills to land your first role. We focus on the part courses leave out: choosing the right direction, presenting your experience, standing out to employers and preparing for interviews. Think of it as the bridge between learning cyber and getting hired.
What happens if I miss a session?
Group sessions are live and not recorded. That keeps the space open, so everyone feels comfortable sharing their situation. If you know you’ll miss one, let me know beforehand and I’ll send you the key points and any tasks for the week.
Can I join if I don’t live in Melbourne?
Yes. All sessions run live on Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere. Sessions are scheduled on Melbourne time, so if you’re in another state or overseas, check the session times work for you before you join.
What happens after the 4 weeks?
You’ll finish with a clear career plan, a stronger resume and LinkedIn, and real interview practice, so you know exactly what to do next.
